Generally considered the world's first general purpose machine gun, the MG34 was a superbly made weapon with a very high rate of fire. Also used as an infantry squad weapon in the light machine gun role, the MG34 could be tripod mounted provided a much more stable firing platform and a higher sustained rate of fire.

In games of Bolt Action this is a Medium Machine Gun Team that can be included in Heavy Weapons Platoons.
